How often do I need a cleaning?

For most people with healthy gums, having a cleaning every 6 months will help them maintain their breath fresh, and their teeth white and clean.   Our dental cleanings are very gentle and ensure that you are well taken care of each time you visit.  Our goal is to make cleaning appointments on time and enjoyable.

With our convenient hours, you can schedule your preventative cleanings before and after work or school.

What if Im a little nervous?

If you feel nervous or are even afraid of dental treatments, you are not alone. Its actually quite common. Our goal is to always to provide compassionate care with a gentle touch.  In our comfortable and friendly office environment we are doing our best to help you relax and provide you and your family with a positive experience.

I have a tooth ache. What should I do?

There is not much worse than having a severe tooth ache or a cracked tooth and not being able to get an appointment with your dentist.  Call us immediately so we can do everything we can to relieve your pain the same day and restore your tooth.  We reserve openings in our busy schedule to see patients with dental emergencies.

What is periodontal disease?

Periodontal disease is a bacterial infection of the gums and bone that supports your teeth. When bacteria stay on the teeth long enough, they form a film called plaque, which eventually hardens to tartar and can spread below the gum line. Your gums can become swollen and red, or may even bleed. In more serious cases your gums can pull away from the tooth and cause bone loss which leads to loose teeth that may even fall out.

However, gum disease is often underestimated and at this point, only your dentist can remove the tartar and begin your gum infection therapy.
